Front Desk

The University Club of San Francisco is centrally located atop Nob Hill in San Francisco. We are a private social Club that also has overnight accommodations and banquet facilities for all types of events.
 
We are currently looking for a part time Front Desk staffer to work the 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. shift 16 to 24 hours per week.
 
This position is our guest's main point of contact and must present an efficient, courteous and professional manner while maintaining the Club's high standards of service and hospitality.
 
Main Job Duties:
  • Assist Members and guests arriving and departing the facilities.
  • Execute reservations tasks including guest check-in or check-out, posting charges to guest accounts, maintaining rooms status information and receiving payments via cash or credit cards.
  • Update room inventory, prepare new arrival registration cards, coordinate with housekeeping.
  • Manages Member and hotel guest laundry / dry cleaning.
  • Develop thorough knowledge of room locations, types of rooms and room rates and cross-promotes other services that the Club offers to guests.
Skills:
Must be an experienced computer user and have familiarity with the internet, operating office equipment, have a friendly demeanor and great attention to detail.
Both verbal and written communication skills are required for customer interactions.
 
 
Software:  The Club uses Jonas Software and some tasks would require knowledge of Excel and Word.

Compensation:  Commensurate with experience.
